The Rot is rewriting Bellweather's dead into a living network. Survivors call its creatures the Rotborn. They follow familiar sounds, gather around old infrastructure and grow stranger with every district reclaimed.
the survivors
Nine stubborn specialists keep the shelters alive. The Quiet Line connects their radios; Dispatcher Vale's missing passenger list connects their stories. Every answered name is a reason to keep the doors open.
your first expedition
Choose a Survivor, map and difficulty. Fight, gather scrap, reclaim buildings, then spend between waves. Clear wave 20 and defeat the siege to extract, or keep going in Endless. Boss sieges enter Rot Surge after 60 seconds, escalating every 20 seconds: all Rotborn gain movement speed, attack pace and damage. Movement and attack pace cap at +120% and +150%; damage keeps rising. Kill every boss to end the siege. Read short transmissions between battles in the Radio Journal.
