Movement & transport
The field reference. Know what you’re working with.
move with intent
WASD, arrow keys or a controller stick move your Survivor. Attacks fire automatically. Hold Shift to sprint; release it to recover stamina. Escape pauses the expedition.
tactical routes
Right-click the ground or minimap to set a destination. Ctrl-right-click queues up to five stops. Manual movement cancels orders. Service lanes give +22% movement speed. Every map also has a free Scrap Magnet, marked M on the minimap. Stand in its circle for two seconds to recall all loose scrap once per wave. Healing drops stay on the ground.
borrow some horsepower
Press Space near a transport to enter or leave. Hull and fuel are limited. Parked vehicles recover during combat after an eight-second damage cooldown. A wreck must regain 35% hull before you can drive again.
